Annie was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended and graduated Florida State University with a bachelor's and a master's degree in Psychology. Annie discovered that there is a great need for specialized tutoring in the Tallahassee area and opened Tutors for Tally in May of 2017. With her unique skill set and knowledge in multiple learning styles, she has been able to successfully help numerous students. Annie makes it a priority to ensure that each family that attends Tutors for Tally receives the highest quality of services. When Annie isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family, studying the Bible, and traveling.
Kimberly earned her bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the University of Florida, graduating in 2014. Some of her past positions include being an Administrative Assistant and teaching ESE Pre-School. Kimberly served as the Assistant Director at TFT before being promoted to Director. As the Director, she makes it a priority to build a relationship with each family that receives services at TFT. Kimberly serves as an advocate for students and has helped to bridge the communication gap between teachers, parents, and other service providers to ensure the success of all students. When Kimberly is not working, she enjoys playing guitar, cooking and spending time outdoors.
Mrs. Albers has been with Tutors for Tally since the day it opened. She has over 12 years of experience as an administrative assistant and loves to meet and make meaningful connections with every family that walks into Tutors for Tally. Mrs. Albers loves her job and is very successful at ensuring that the administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner to ensure company success. You will always find her with a smile on her face. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and traveling.
Ms. Klaire was born in Missouri but has lived in Tallahassee most of her life. She is currently a Junior at Florida State University Pursuing a Bachelor's in Communication Science and Disorders. She plans to attend grad school to become a Speech and Language Pathologist or Audiologist. While she doesn't work directly with the kids, she loves to see their smiles as they walk through the doors. She worked in an afterschool that fostered her love for kids, and she now wants to work in a school as an SLP. When not working Klaire likes to crochet, go on walks, and read fiction books or her Bible.
Ms. Lily was raised in East Tennessee, but moved to Santa Rosa Beach, FL during high school. She currently attends Florida State University pursuing her Bachelors in Environmental Science and Policy. Starting Fall 2026, she will be attending FSU Law with hopes of becoming an Environmental lawyer in the future. Working at the front desk, Ms.Lily loves getting to know all the children that attend Tutors for Tally. Outside of work, she loves reading, running, doing yoga, and spending time at the beach.
Ms. Macey was raised in Saint Augustine, Florida. She is currently a Sophomore at Florida State University pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. She hopes to attend law school after graduating. She loves to work with kids and meet all of the students! In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, pickleball, and going to the beach!
Ms. Pearson was born in Tallahassee, FL. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education/Exceptional Student Education and a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida. Ms. Pearson has been teaching for 6 years. She has 2 adorable pugs named Evie and Sushi. Ms. Pearson loves to teach students and help them be the best version of themselves. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, movies, and drinking an amazing cup of coffee.
Ms. James received her Master of Science Degree from Western Michigan University and her Bachelor of Science Degree from FAMU. She has taught mathematics to middle and high school students for over 35 years. Ms. James loves helping students learn and understand the world of mathematics. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending FAMU events.
Mrs. Justice was raised in Tallahassee, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Flagler College. She has taught multiple grade levels and really enjoys the tutoring environment where she can work 1 on 1 with students. In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her son and her dog Gretel.
Mrs. Groover was born and raised in Georgia. She received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and her master's degree in Learning and Behavior Disorders from the University of Louisville. She earned her National Board Certification as an early childhood through young adulthood exceptional needs specialist while teaching in Tallahassee at Kate Sullivan Elementary. She taught students from Kindergarten to SAT prep classes, and has taught several students of varying exceptionalities in Florida and Indiana. She is a Master Gardener, loves to to be in the garden, and is a prolific reader.
Mrs. Caito was raised in Tallahassee, Florida and graduated from Florida State University. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Anthropology. She has over ten years of experience working with children and has taught multiple grade levels, mainly preschool through middle school. Mrs. Caito has a passion for connecting with students and inspiring a love of learning and storytelling. She loves her pets and enjoys reading, writing, creating art, and going on walks with friends.
Mr. Christopher Austin is a graduate of Florida A&M University with degrees in Economics and Pure Mathematics and a Minor in Business. He is currently attending Florida State University where he is studying for his MBA with concentrations Business Analysis and Data Analytics. Mr. Austin has seven years of math tutoring experience at the undergraduate level at Florida A&M, specializing in educating students in both one-on-one and group settings. He is a certified Master level tutor with the National Tutoring Association. He loves training for long term goals and is currently studying Project Management and Business Analysis in his spare time.
Ms. Benton is from Miami, Florida and is completing a Bachelors of Music Education with a minor in chemistry at Florida State University. She hopes to either attend medical school or become a high school band director. She has 5 years of tutoring experience ranging from music to chemistry. In her free time, Ms. Benton likes to do jigsaw puzzles, play board games, and practice the euphonium.
Ms. Girard received her bachelors at FSU and has lived in Tallahassee for over 20 years. Since high school, she has had a love for helping others in academics. Ms. Girard decided to homeschool her own children for many years and complimented that with homeschool co-ops and adventures. She's been teaching in a traditional elementary classroom for 5 years now and loves the unique opportunity at TFT to work with students 1-on-1 for extended time. Her children are now 13 and 20. In their free time, they enjoy cooking together, board games and adventures.
Ms. Norton is a senior at Florida State University studying Psychology and Child Development. She is from South Florida and plans to move to Nashville after graduation and pursue a career in curriculum development. She began working at Tutors for Tally in Fall 2023 and took a break but is so excited to be back! She believes that all students deserve a chance to love learning, and hopes to help each of her students find joy in education. In her free time she enjoys spending time in nature, hanging out with her friends, exploring new places, and studying!
Ms. Derivet grew up in Miami and earned her degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Florida State University. She is now pursuing a master’s degree in electrical engineering. With experience tutoring students of all ages in math, physics, and chemistry, Ms. Derivet is passionate about helping learners build confidence and succeed. Outside of tutoring, she enjoys salsa dancing and playing pickleball.
Mr. Godwin was born in Tallahassee and is currently getting his Bachelors in International Affairs from Florida State University. Mr. Godwin tutored at Tallahassee State College for two years where he received his College Reading and Learning Association level 3 certification. He has a cat named Cassius and in his free time plays chess and reads sci-fi novels.
Ms. Love is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Literature, certified to teach 6–12th grade English. She has taught in Indianapolis and Miami, and works primarily in higher education. She is passionate about helping children gain a deeper understanding of grade-level material, and she centers her work around faith and purpose. Outside of work, Ms. Love often spends time reading, writing, and being in nature.
Ms. Bond was born in Tallahassee, Fl. She is working on her bachelors degree in Biology and Clinical Professions. She plans to attend medical school to become an anesthesiologist. She has two years of tutoring experience and has tutored kids of all ages and subjects. She loves playing sports, reading, and cooking. Hiking and being in the outdoors is something she truly enjoys.
Mr. Miller is currently a senior studying electrical engineering at Florida State University. He is from south Florida and plans to return there after graduation to pursue a career as a controls engineer. He is passionate about the fundamentals of math and feels it is important to understand the math rather than just complete it. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball and the piano.
Ms. Jordan lives in Tallahassee now as she completes her Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education along with her Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction at Florida State University. As of now, she plans to teach kindergarten or first grade, hopefully in Leon County! In her free time she likes to play the piano, go camping, or spend time in nature. She has one orange cat named Gravy.
Ms. Eydenberg is currently a sophomore at Florida State University pursuing a dual degree in Cell and Molecular Neuroscience and Chemistry on the Pre-Medical track. She grew up in the Chicago area and hopes to stay in Florida for Medical School. Her ultimate goal is to become a reconstructive plastic surgeon. She began working for Tutors for Tally in Fall of 2025 and loves helping kids academically and emotionally. With four years of tutoring all high school subjects from Calculus to Psychology and two years working with children K-8 in summer camp, she loves helping any student, regardless of age, in any courses they may need assistance in. Ms. Eydenberg is passionate about helping solidify kids’ foundational skills and building from the ground up to thoroughly grasp any and all class curriculums. In her spare time, Ms. Eydenberg enjoys hiking, running, and being an active member in both the FSU Chemistry Fraternity and a heart screening club called Who We Play For.
